Treatment Highlights The procedure uses a specialised device with a diamond-tipped applicator or fine crystals to exfoliate the skin, removing impurities and unclogging pores. It is customised to suit individual skin types and concerns, from light exfoliation for sensitive skin to deeper resurfacing for more pronounced issues. Post-treatment, soothing and hydrating products are applied to restore balance and enhance the skin’s glow. The treatment is gentle, painless, and requires no downtime. Aftercare Instructions Avoid retinoids and exfoliating products for 5–7 days. Apply SPF 30+ daily and minimise direct sun exposure for 1–2 weeks. Use gentle, hydrating products to maintain moisture. Avoid heat exposure (e.g., saunas or exercise) for 24–48 hours. Refrain from heavy makeup for at least 24 hours. Potential Side Effects Temporary redness or mild sensitivity. Slight dryness or flaking as the skin renews. Rarely, minor irritation for sensitive skin. These effects typically subside within 24–48 hours. Contraindications Microdermabrasion is unsuitable for: Active skin infections, cold sores, or open wounds. Recent chemical peels, laser treatments, or sunburn. Severe rosacea or highly reactive skin. Pregnancy if contraindicated products are used. Who Benefits from Microdermabrasion? Skin Types: Normal, combination, oily, and dry (with adjustments for sensitive skin). All appointments must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or in person. Availability is subject to scheduling. 2. Appointment Booking Fees A non refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This is non refundable but redeemable against your treatment. If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice a 20% cancellation fee will be charged. Full payment is due at the time of service. 3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy Cancellations or rescheduling must occur at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee, 20% of the full price of the treatment (regardless of special offers or discounts) Cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours will result in the retention of your booking fee, and additional charges may apply. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings. 4. Late Arrival Policy Arriving late may result in your appointment being shortened or not honoured, and the booking fee will not be refunded. Persistent late arrivals may lead to refusal of future bookings. Timeliness ensures the best care and treatment time for all clients. 5. Refunds for Services Refunds for services already rendered are not provided. If dissatisfied, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment for potential solutions. 6. Limitation of Liability Nicola Agassi Ltd is not liable for damages or injuries arising from the use of our non-surgical treatments, except where required by law.
